The moorings are situated within walking distance of the town, on the tidal part of the River Brede known locally as "Rock Channel", it is one and three quarter miles from the open sea. Rye is a drying Harbour with soft mud and our moorings will happily accommodate all types of keel configurations and stern gear at low tide. We offer various types of moorings for vessels under 50 feet LOA. To compliment the moorings we offer hard standing and boat yard facilities including an onsite crane to lift vessels up to 18 tonnes at short notice. Our site benefits from easy access by road for large boat transporters to load or off load vessels. Rye has an active boating community with social events throughout the year.
